First of all, a wiki space is a "fast" website - wasy to make and maintain.
It's a place that anyone that joins the website can view and add detail. Each member who joins has to have permission from Mrs Harding (so when you join it's a good idea to tell her so she can approve you!)
Here is a great video that explains wikis in (like it says) plain English. Take a look...
It's absolutely safe. It gets monitored regularly and cannot be found in a search bar. You have to know the address specifically or be invited. How great is that!
It's a great way of connecting together in a modern way. It will also encourage users to do the activities linked to this site rather than searching the internet alone! So if you know of some fun or great learning sites, let Mrs Harding know so she can add them or you can add them yourself if you know how. Additional Information:
If you join this wiki you will be able to post comments in our discussion areas (Each page has its own discussion page) and you will be able to edit pages. I request that you do not change/delete content that I or the class have put on. If you something on this site offends you or you would like it taken off, please talk to me about it. The idea of "editing" on your behalf is so that you can add links of interest and participate in our discussions. Thanks!
You do not have to join this site if you only wish do view the pages and click on links.
You can only access this wiki if you have the address. You cannot access it by search engines.
